Are there only two pedals on the floor in a 1912? I am looking at a picture of a 1912, but can only make out two pedals and the write up says it has a two piece transmission. Thanks.

Robert,

Most likely the third pedal is hidden by one of the two you can see. Perhaps they meant a "two speed transmission" which is what it is. Plus reverse of course.

That was my first thought. 1909/10/11/12/early13 had a "torque tube" that bolted together behind the U-joint ball. It is commonly known as a "two piece driveshaft" even though it is the torque tube that is different from the later ones. I really could go crazy about how there are really about a dozen pieces to the driveshaft. Or is that nearly two dozen?
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
