I recently acquired a pair of one-piece spindles. I believe they are the 1922 variety because they have a Ford script on the arms. They came off of a farm wagon made from a Model T chassis. Someone had bent the arms all the way against the front axle and welded them there. I assume it was so the front wheels would be locked in a straight-ahead position.
I want to repair the spindles so that they will work on a 1909-10 front axle. The problem is straightening the arms so they will work correctly. Does anyone have a drawing that shows the angle (looking down) between the hub center-line and the spindle arm center-line? Does the arm curve up, and if so, how much of an offset (viewed from the side) is it from the center-line?

Does this help?
Rick, i have recently declined to purchase a set of these 20's spindles as I believed it was too difficult to make them fit the correct 09/10 front axle beam. Would like to know how you get on. In the meantime we keep looking for a set of the real McCoys!!

Darel,
Thank you very much--that is exactly what I was looking for. Some of the numbers are hard to read but I think I have them figured out. I think I can use some math and extrapolate to find any values that are missing.
Alan,
I don’t have an axle beam. I just wanted to fix these in case I ever run across one or I might trade them someday.
Dan,
Thanks for the link. I did some searching before I posted this question to see what had already been discussed on this subject.
