I don't have a lot of info nor have I worked on many TT trucks. Owner claims to have the correct motor but it is dated 1927 but titled as a 1925 more than likely an engine swap.
I find that the C cab was made from 1925, was it used to the end of production?
Running boards look correct 21" long.
Question on tire size, this has 600 x 20 rear and 450 x 21 on the front which isn't what I found in some of the info I have seen, what size is correct. Is this a Ford made cab?
The doors have two holes that look like side curtain braces may have been used. Is this correct? Thanks for any help you can provide
Mike - Yes, your TT truck cab is a Ford made body. Ford introduced the "C" cab body on TT trucks beginning in January, 1924, and as far as I know, they didn't change them all the way through the end of production in 1927, except for the body mount brackets and the ignition & amp meter switch plate.
I understand that the '24 & '25 TT's had 30 x 3 1/2 tires on the front and 32 x 4 1/2 tires on the back; and the '26 & '27 TT's had 440 x 21" tires on the front and 600 x 20" on the back axle.
I've also read that the '24 through '26 "C" cabs had the rectangular switch plate on the dash and the '27's used the oval switch plates like the '26 and '27 Model T cars did. Your pictures don't show which switch plate you have on your truck, however.
Yes, the two holes on the top of the doors are for side curtain rods.
I've read that there is someone in the north west part of the US who is writing a book about TT trucks, but I don't remember his name. Does any one know who that is, or could that person please post here and tell us how he's coming on his book?
Thanks, Keith
Mike,

The Firestone 20" rear wheels became standard on TT trucks in October of 1924, front 21" at the same time. The earlier 30 x 3 1/2 fronts and 23" rears were still available on order, few did that.
Thanks for the help guys
Keith the switch plate is rectangular. However the engine, I found frame number matching are for March of 1927.
thanks
Mike welcome to the TT world, I have lots of used, NOS parts, no c-cab parts however Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and every one else who reads this message danuser88@ktis.net
I too just started a TT project, my first project truck ever actually. Feel free to send me any pictures and it'd be nice to hear about your progress. And if anyone figures out any info on that TT book let me know!
Question: Did they switch to the square closed cabs in '26 and drop the C-Cabs or did they offer both of them until the end of production. I've always thought they dropped the C-Cab and never gave it much thought.
Never have seen a 1927 C-Cab. I understand that the "boot scraper" type, longer running board was a 1926 - '27 truck item. My Gramps bought his TT C-Cab Covered Express new in Seattle in 1924 - it has 32 x 4.5 on the rear and I know the original fronts were 30 x 3.5 but changed over to 21".
