Also, didn't interfere with Ruckstell left-handed shifter or RM brakes.

I just recently installed one on my car, too and I really like it. My impression is that there's a fair trade-off here: My old, starter-mounted switch had been ridiculously quick and easy to install and lasted a few good years, but needed constant adjustment due to the slippage of putting a circular grip around a cylindrical object.

Installing the Fun Projects kit did involve spending a couple of hours getting intimate with the greasy underside of my car, but there was nothing difficult about it. The hardest thing I had to do was compensate for the thickness of the mounting bracket by buying a longer bolt and drilling a cotter-pin hole through the threaded shank — no biggie.

The Fun Projects switch looks to be an extremely high-quality unit. The switch itself has a neat, weatherproof, rubber seal and the steel mounting bracket is powder-coated. The simple geometry of the brass actuating linkage looks very strong and I'd be surprised if it ever needed to be re-adjusted. And if you buy it direct from Mr. Regan, it only costs about three bucks more than the starter-mounted unit.

With a little modification it works well with a modern Warfard installation.

I have one of those on one of my T's and it is easy to install and adjust. Works well and does not interfere with the Ruckstell or Rocky mtn brakes. The previous one was junk. It mounted on the starter bendix cover and the clutch link would hit it and put it out of adjustment.

I have 2 installed and will never use another switch other than this one on any other T we may acquire.
All of John's stuff works well and I sincerely appreciate all he does for the hobby.

I've posted this before but it's the truth. Especially if you're starting from scratch gathering parts/ making stuff, ect. You can't beat this kit as far as quality and price are concerned. It doesn't "pay" to do it yourself.

Thanks for the kind words. I just got back in town from Key West, FL and asking myself why I live in IL and then I remember why - my sons, grandkids, brothers, sisters...and all my T friends. I went to Key West for a wedding but decided to drive down to visit some friends along the way. We were gone 10 days. Will celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday since we were on the road the last 2 days. Good to be home but Key West was certainly nice and warm.
