This one is a strange mix of parts, but I like the accessory radiator.

I'd like to have the seats and top; mebbe even the body aft of the firewall.
That car was sold on the Hartung auction, and has been on Ebay several times since.
I think they grossly overpaid for it.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it appears to have some of those solid tires with holes through them.
It would be a fun car to repair the chassis and drive it as it looks now. Someone put parts together to create a "Frankinstein Monster" Model T.
Steve, go back and click on Derek's post there are several close up pictures including the solid tires and the Chinese license plate.
The body looks very much like one I purchased to put on a 12 running gear I have. It was said to be an aftermarket body possibly produced by Hercules and sold through Sears. I have not yet been able to verify any bodies like it connected to either company. It would explain a tourabout body on a later running gear, though. Or maybe the original owners wanted a newer looking car so changed the fenders. Would definitely look better with earlier fenders!
Looks like front fenders on the rear.
It's not an aftermarket body. It's not a tourabout body.
It's a body and top from a horse drawn carriage.
Erik:
Do you know for a fact that the body is from a carriage and not an aftermarket T body? Or, are you simply citing the information included in the auction listing?
If the source of your info is the auction listing, it's not particularly meaningful. Auction listings are often incorrect.
Although it's hard to determine from the pictures, it looks to me like the body fits the chassis too well to be a carriage conversion.
Cheers,
Timothy
I can tell by looking at the photos that it is most definitely a buggy body, and a common one at that.
I didn't read the auction description until you pointed it out.
I would bet, that the reserve is at least $3500.00
Export company, HUH? South America, HUH? As much scamming is going on, I wouldn't touch this one for $200.00.
Hmm, is that an Autowa radiator?
