I'm watching a TV show on Speed Channel called Dumbest Stuff On Wheels. I'm convinced Man should not have the ability to procreate. I'm near the point where I can no longer watch.

The problem is that OSHA has made thing so safe that natural selection has been bypassed and the idiots now survive.

I have a vasectomy. You're welcome.

Sean, after your vasectomy did you notice frowning would cause the lines between your eyes to actually form a V? I think when they pulled that cord out a little ways to tie it they got it a little too tight. That's what the fella I use to work with told me. And yes he really did have a V in his forehead.

So are you going to show us the dumb stuff on wheels?

There is ONE "stupid people reality TV show" that I do look at occasionally. "1000 Ways to Die" uses actors to recreate (an illusion of) the activities of idiots because the real idiots got themselves killed. All the other such shows annoy me too much for me to tolerate watching them because I know those people are still out there. Somehow, it is comforting to know that even OSHA hasn't totally stopped Darwin. And I know that they are out there, I have met a few too many of them in my life.
Please, drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

Ever watch Cops? It's remarkable to contemplate that when you see footage of the shirtless raving drunk guy on TV, it means he signed a paper giving the producers permission to show it.

I'm not sure if it's always the same guy or if the country only has drunk shirtless guys on TV and I don't understand the whole giving permission. And then there's always the drunk chick that can't put one foot in front of the other and argues with the cop and calls him names. The best one though was the good ole boy that the cop was trying to talk to that kept yelling at the cop and swearing and going on and on. He's some swamp lovin' redneck that's taken some medicine that really affects him. Anyway that's the story he told afterwards.

You think about it, the country really is getting dumber all the time. Inbreeding?

I tell myself those shows are just entertainment and therefore not to be taken seriously, even though I don't watch them. The real problem is that the same stupid behavior can be observed everywhere in everyday real life.

I think Fred's on the right track. Down with OSHA - survival of the fittest! :-)

I simply can't and won't watch that reality crap. I tried a couple times and each time, I could physically feel my IQ lower by about 5 points for every minute I watched.

I guess part of the reason I have never had cable TV. (Aside from being a cheap bas*ard)
