Anyone know if anyone up there in Rootleib is at home??
Probably not. It's a holiday weekend, Thursday through Sunday.
Ah ha !! Thanks Giving, that would account for it.
Thank you
David.
Yup Thanksgiving is a big deal up here in the old US of A.
It is the only holiday that most people have no argument with.
It is the biggest time of the year for the airlines.
Now then, I always heard that left hand drive cars were not permitted on the roads in Australia, but I see your two T Fords are L.H.D.
Not quite true, cars that are 25 years old or older can retain their originality, new cars, unless being shipped back out after 12 months have to be converted ( at a significant cost ) eg:- 2012 Dodge Ram...buy in USA say US$ 35,000-00, ship about US$ 5000-00 ,conversion = A $ 40,000-00 (US $ 41,000-00 ),bringing the total less on road costs to US $ 81,000-00 .certainly not a cheap exercise.
It may change again in the future, but l doubt it.
David.
