Shortly after we got our electricity back, I found in my e-mail an invite to participate in a car show to benefit hurricane relief on Long Island. As is often the case, it was to be held on a Sunday morning. For a church-goer, that gets a little frustrating after a while. Anyway, I dropped the car off at the show, zipped off to church—and when I returned, found this neat plaque on my front seat!
Spectators' Choice! Praise the Lord, I'd won my first car show award!
Hey Bob, You were able to serve two masters! Good for you, on both decisions!
Bob, I'm with you on that one. I refuse to participate during the time I'm supposed to be in Church. (LCMS)
Good for you guys!
It's getting to be more and more that too many don't even know what the phrase "keeping the Sabbath" means; we should all consider carefully what's REALLY important in this life!
Congratulations!!!!
