BUT! last night... IT RAN!!

we didnt keep it running due to the fact it didnt have a radiator, but we feel pretty good about it :-) the engine had not ran in 20+ years :-)

engine compression was 52, 50, 48, 52 and that was DRY!

It's always a great time to have that first 'fire' and listen to the Ford 4 cyl hit a lick!

Notice at the 7:57 mark in the YouTube video, you almost got a "bite" by the crank handle, Lucky you, pulled away in time :-)

That crank will hang up on the ratchet and pulley pin, unless you have a good spring on the handle that will push the ratchet away..,

A coil 'bite' instead. :-) Those shockers get your attention fast! As you reacted in the video, thought it was from the spinning crank handle. And yes, you did hand crank the safe way. I noticed that first off :-)
