Anybody out there have any photos of period fifth wheel hitches?
I've seen plenty of side view photos of T's with fiifth wheels and trailers but none of the actual fifth wheel hitch itself.
I went to Greenfield Village several years ago and there was a Smith Form a Truck with a fifth wheel on a '14 T. I took a lot of photos, but I can't post pic. on this forum or any place.
I've tried but.

I did not know that they were called "fifth wheel" or "semi trailers" that early. I had seen photos, so I knew they existed that early, but often language develops after. Interesting.
