a few years ago my boss was cleaning out some trailers and scraping stuff at work,he said there are some model T parts if you want'em take'em.I had a 25 tudor at the time and had not done my homework, i grabbed fenders, lights, coilbox, wheels, etc.looked at that engine with open valvetrain and strange waterpump and said don't need that,i think i made a big mistake.

Scott we usually reserve these stories for late March or early April.

Good one Herb!

Reminder of once was on a property for sale, 1979, outside Louisville KY, which had an old shed in the rear. So opened the door and stoop step down, dirt floor.

Not much in the old shed. On the way out, stepped up to the threshold and wonders.

There in the dirt was an open valve block, being used as the support for the wooden stoop step.

Many times wished I had 'stole' it and replaced that old iron piece with a concrete block :-(

Yea Dan, I was just kidding. Because there is this story also from a recent posting:

So I should wait for more of the story to be told, and never say never.

Dan,
Do you still remember the location of the property outside Louisville?
Perhaps the block is still there - and the current owner might be willing to trade the block for another? You can offer a more common 1920's block if he doesn't want a concrete version :-)
