The dash light in my '25 Fordor was missing the hood.
I looked on ebay for a while but found nothing but overpriced, incorrect, dash lights.
Having had really good luck with John before I emailed him along with a photo explaining my need.
John replied saying he would GIVE me a hood.......I had to pay only postage.
Let's just say I did a bit better than postage but how can you beat that?.......
Nice! WTG, John.

Amen for John. He is alright.
Another John Danuser moment. I met John & his wife at Chickasha about 12 years ago and had bought a few inexpensive items from him over the years, always good items at a reasonable price but our relationship was more of a casual one. The real story about what a great person he is to me began at the Centennial in Richmond. My 9 year old daughter and I had planned this trip as a once in lifetime experience. On a tour, day one, I fried my generator. As some of the events would involve some dusk driving and running a distributor it was important for me to have a working generator. My daughter & I looked in the swap field for one that would motor on 6 volts just to get by with (read "to cheap" here). No luck but by chance we were close to John's vending truck and I stopped in to see if he had a used one. As I discussed with him my dilemma and explained that I was going to have my old generator rebuilt, that I was looking for a used one to get by with until I got home, John gave me some solid counsel. 1- This was certainly a once in a life time event for my daughter and I. 2- why spoil it by taking a chance on an unknown generator. He said if I was going to have it rebuilt that he had one rebuilt (by another one of our excellent members, RP) for his own T in the truck and if I needed it he would sell it to me for what he paid for it. I took him up on the offer. Now the rest of the story, with so much going on I forgot to bring him the old generator back as a core to be rebuilt and only realized it a few days after getting back home. I called John and told him about my mistake and that I would ship it to him. His response was to just wait and bring it to Chickasha. Trust is a big thing for me and where I failed John prevailed, 8 months is a long time to wait for anything but he trusted me to do it. It's because of that trust I had the old generator rebuilt and gave it to him at Chickasha. I got the better deal! My daughter and I had a great Centennial with no missed tours and very few problems, Saw an acquaintance, made a friend, fulfilled a commitment and passed a favor forward. Thank you John for your kindness and your trust.
My dad introduced me to John in 2000 on my first T tour with the Hillbilly Club. Logistically, he's always been there when I needed something for dad's/now my car. If yer ever around Fulton, Missourah, drop by and say hi.
John, Merry Christmas to you, wife, kids and critters
