Several years ago I bought sets of stronger springs for the bands and have since forgotten who the vendor was. These were better than the ones sold by the standard vendors and provided protection from bands dragging. Does anyone know or remember who handles those springs?

I have a set of those around somewhere. Figured out certain band liners don't need 'em. :-)

Jim,

See Langs part # 3425BQ at: http://www.modeltford.com/item/3425BQ.aspx in there catalog they say, “Band spring, best quality, longer to help prevent dra, A MUST WHEN USING KEVLAR BANDS.”

I thought it was either John Regan or RV Anderson that started producing the springs according to the original Ford Parts drawing, but I could not locate that on John’s “Fun Projects” site and I could not locate RV Anderson’s site.

Respectfully submitted,

Hap l9l5 cut off
