With the ax, long rope, handles protruding from the back (first photo), tool box, and canister by spare tire; would that be standard equipment that a rancher would have or would this fellow work for the forest service?

Fellows, Bon Bon station is a huge property in outback Australia, south of the opal mining centre of Coober Pedy, hence the sparse background vegetation. If you google bob bon station you will find an extensive entry detailing the current station status as a protected reserve.
