Recorded the movie "Lawless" last evening. Some great looking T's. Didn't look to good full of bullet holes though.

My son saw the movie and said to me, "now I understand why you want to paint the Model T blue."

Apparently they were beautiful in the movie.

Isn't Jane Russell in that, with her Howard Hughes designed support?

Yes and I think Howard Hughes directed it as well.

Lawless is a 2012 movie that just came out a few months ago. It was filmed in Georgia and many of the cars were prepared by Robert Carden in Sargent, Ga. For those who don't know Robert- he is a T engine re-builder.

Read about the movie

It was mentioned here a few months back about the ton truck having a non-standard rearend. I watched for it when I and my bride went to the show and sure enough - that ain't a Model T diffy.

Hi Richard:
We rented it from our channel supplier. Even if some of the T's weren't purist T's it was a great movie.

Just checked our sub to Netflakes (netflix), and put "Chasing Ice" and "Lawless" in the queue. Looked up Jane Russell, and it was "The Outlaw" I was thinking of. She never made a movie named Lawless. She died last year at age 89.

I bet a lot of people like me went to Google to find out what a "nance" was?

Hi Ricks_ Surfcity:
I thought you were being sarcastic in an earlier post when you mentioned Jane Russell, that's why I said yes it was directed by Howard Hughes. Sorry about that. Hope you enjoyed the movie.

Actually, Enos, I've never seen more than outtakes of the movie. By support, I meant the underwire bra he developed for her. . Someday...

She didn't wear that bra in the movie, she just said she had it on when he asked her if she was wearing it. It was completely uncomfortable to wear.
