My first chore of the day was clearing stuff off my trailer so I can use it. Among the fine merchandise I've been wrestling around is this rear axle. I'm not familiar with modern cars, but I'm guessing Model A. Is that right?
That looks like 26-7 T big drum rear end and that is an aftermarket hub cap, I have some like it on my Roadster, they came in steel and aluminium
Sure enough. I should have gone and studied the 26 axle in my barn. It's been so long since I looked at one of those the strange hubcap led me down the garden path.

Had several of the red top accessory hub caps caps, and one set of the covers, but all in aluminum. Never have seen steel ones before...new one on me!
I have one steel one like that, hub cap only, not the bolts cover. I have had that hub cap for about thirty years but haven't really tried to find matches for it. It is bent a little worse than yours, but I think is fixable.
If you had three, I would offer you another one?
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
I was curious where do you find the old adds for accessory ford parts? Is there a web site?
Thanks
Steve-
I have a set made out of Aluminum and a few in Nickle plated steel.
Mr. Parkes had them on my 1911 back in the day.
I'd like to get a few more nice ones in steel, then have them Brass plated.
