Yeah, that was about five or six years ago if I recall correctly. Haven't heard any more about it though. I wonder if the battery companies tanked it like the auto industry tanked the 1,000 miles per gallon carburetors.
If that is true that is brilliant.
Matsushita and Fujitsu were looking at this technology about 15 years ago, but were able to improve battery life and reduce power consumption to "acceptable" levels for portable computers, so we were told at the time!
