In the old days, all you had to do was click on an email and then send it.Now I get a warning message about changing my computer. What is this all about??
Sounds like your computer has a virus to me.
no virus,brand new computer?
Sign of the times, the default security settings keep getting tighter.
Chris,is there any suggestions to get the email addresses to work properly?
Jack, I find it better at most times to just highlight the address, right click and copy the address and the right click and paste into my email account. This also works well with people that tend to use AT rather than @ between their address and email account name trying to reduce SPAM.
Also, if its a new computer, it may be trying to use the "automatic connection" when you click on someones email, but start a different type of email program than the one you use. This may be why its asking to change your computer. These settings can all be changed, just don't ask me how, LOL.
Sounds like "User account control setting". Check your security settings for starting new programs. or copy and past the exact error message in Google or here for an explanation.
