This wrench was left at a tour of predominately Ford Ts. Does anyone have an idea what it's used for, so we may track down the owner?

I don't think it is for a T.
did it come with some rubber bands and ball bearings? it could be a slingshot? ;)
It is used to orient the U joint end of the drive shaft with the hole in the transmission shaft when re installing the engine or the drive shaft in the car. The wrench engages the flats on the square drive shaft/u joint end so it can be rotated while sliding the things together and the space for hands and fingers is insufficient.
The only guess I would have is for valve springs.
Just because it is not an "official" Model T Ford tool does not mean that someone didn't bring it to work on their car.
Is the opening 1"? If so, I'd say U-joint wrench.
