I have a collection of magneto post oiler accesories and am wondering if anyone knows when and by whom they were made originally? Are these all period accesories or are they from the 1960's?
#1 - Brass construction, 1/8" female NPT fitting. I like this one the best from a design standpoint. No name.
#2 - Steel post with pot metal base. The design makes it possible for the 1926 - 27 threaded post to be used on earlier Model T engines. The fitting is 3/8" JIC style male flare fitting, 45 degree flare. No name.
#3 - This one is steel construction, with compression fitting type oil line connection. No name.
#4 - This is an Apco oiler. Pot metal construction, compression fitting. The worst one in my opinion.
Here's a link to a group I posted under ACCESSORY OF THE DAY. Some are period and others are of later vintage.
