People keep putting links in to different youtube videos and my computer refuses to play them. All I get is a black screen where the video should be playing. I keep thinking I'm dealing with a security block or hangup or something but the darn thing worked fine one day, and did not the next. I don't remember downloading anything and suddenly I get a black video screen. Anyone have any ideas?
Mike, try updating your Adobe Flash Player that will normally fix the issue. There are know issues with browser add-ons also. If the update fails to cure the problem, disable the add-ons.

Hey, why are you guys giving me a hard time. I wouldn't do it to you. Especially you "chunky little Wisco buddy" and I haven't had supper yet so no canadian cappucino until I eat first.
Mike, I had the same thing happened to mine starting yesterday and what cured mine was pushing the reset button on the back of the modem. I am not a computer guy but googled it and this is what was suggested and worked for me. The other guys may have the better answer for you but thought I would throw this in for you to consider. Chet
Forget my suggestion Mike, mine is acting up again. I'll go with Don's suggestion. Go'na get off and try to fix mine the right way....Chet
My Youtube stuff has been dragging lately. Unplugged the modem for a minute then plugged it back in. Download speed went from 4 mbs to 7.5 mbs.
Hey Mike, step up and buy the DVD "1001 Ways to Boil Water" and quit being so damn cheap!
