Here is the better 1914, looks original to me.
Zoomed in on the block and you can see the 14 casting date..Would just clean it and leave it alone and drive this Ford as is
On eBay now....how high will the bids go ??

Dan,you're right,as usual. That is a nice old car.
Jack;
Forrest City, Iowa was where I bought my Centerdoor. Wonder if that is the same guy. Bought 2 cars from him. The guy that I got my car was the guy that puts on that prewar swap meet in Forrest City, Iowa. He went by the name; Trooper. He was a State Trooper in Iowa.
That would be Gary Ludwig. Real nice guy. He's usually at Chickasha every year.
There's a guy on FordBarn site that has the username of Trooper, Don.
There sure are a lot of '14s around like that one. Great car, and notice it still has the original floormat too!
I wonder if that chassis belongs to this body?

I like the white floor mat on my '14. When I restored it in the early 70's, I found a white mat at Hershey. It was a second. Never did find out why it was a second.
Derek;
Same person selling the chassis.
Dan, how would anyone know how high the bids are gonna go?? It's bidding, there is know way to know that information.
Kevin
Just playing fun...a nice, original, '14 like that could bring $10K in active bidding is my guess.
That T was at $4K when posted about it, now at $6.2K, and reserve is met. So the owners thought it was worth somewhere around $6,000 anyway.
I should have read the ad closer... he mentions that he sold the body, then found the chassis.
If you check his other auctions, you will find the body for sale, now if it hasn't ended.
CORRECTION; The body was sold Aug. 12 for $4950
I just checked on the selling results of both the chassis and the original 14 Touring car. The chassis went for $7,097, the Touring for $20,223.
