Hello All:

One of our members of the MTFCA and the T Crank Yankers Of Central NJ, Bob & Lois Kunze, have lost their home in Lavalette NJ as a result of Storm Sandy. The next day, due to his stress most likely, Bob suffered a stroke and is now in a rehabilitation hospital trying to get the use of his right side back. Bob did have his 1926 Touring in the house garage and a bunch of us were able to get it out and we are working towards getting it back in shape. At our annual T Crank Yankers Christmas party we took up a collection in a stocking and took it to Bob @ the rehabilitation facility the next day. It was a very touching event and I knew we had made the right decision at that time as the room was full of tears. I'm not the begging type, but if there is anybody out there who wants to help out one of our Model T brothers in his time of need anything will help I'm sure. If you would like to make a donation you may send it to:

Bob & Lois Kunze
c/o Robert Kunze
3875 Ridge Ave.
Manchester NJ 08759

This is their son Bob's house where Mrs. Kunze is residing while they await relocation and Bob is in rehab. Even a simple Christmas card can help to let the family know we care and maybe will lift Bob's spirits to get better and help his mental state through this very dificult time. Happy Holidays & God Bless to you all.

Jim Mitchell
President T Crank Yankers

Bob is in a rehab facility in Toms River, NJ... doing fine with physical therapy and getting better a step at a time.

Lois & family ? I will be visiting Bob later today at the rehab and may see Lois & other family members there. Will relay everyone's well wishes.

As far as Bob's '27 Touring, friends have been helping to clean up after the flood. We did get her running Monday evening. sounded GREAT !!... as a T should.

Upholstery cleaned, engine to differential cleaned out, new fluids, new coils, new battery. even ordered a new ignition key.

Will report later .............

Update:

Bob is in great spirits, physical training really helps. Very appreciative of all the help with the family and getting the car back. He will be with family for Christmas, then back for more rehab. He and Lois will have permanent housing soon.

He is thankful for your cards and prayers.

I'm glad to hear Bob and his family are getting along better. It takes time to get over a disaster like this one, but it seems like they have friends who are there to help.

God Bless and I hope they have a Merry Christmas.

Herb
