I had replacement safety glass made and bought the rubber seals to apply them with. (I''m mainly talking about ALL BUT the door crank windows.) As I made an initial run I found the seals don't feed over the glass easily and don't square off at the corners that aren't rounded (i.e. qtr. glass). I would appreciate hearing any tips from your experiences that might help. For instance, do you warm the gaskets to make them more supple? Do you soap them to get them to slip on easier? Do you notch-miter the corners, completely cut and miter them, or just stretch them as squared as you can? Do you use any additional caulk? Thanks.
