I've had this set on our 15 touring for a while and just realized I never posted these under the accessory of the day.The caps on these are solid machined brass not pressed steel.
Very nice set Jay, thanks for posting. KB
Very nice Jay!
I believe that is like the set Dennis Seth was looking at on ebay.
Thanks for posting!
Jay, that is a beaut set of cans, and I marvel at the lockable cover to prevent someone helping themselves. But what is to stop one from un-doing the two clamps and lifting the whole unit?
Allan from down under.
Allan
Who would stoop that low to do that?
Dan the same ones who stole all the riad caps, dogbones, and motormeters on the 2004 Tour in South Dakota, I sold every cap I had and didn't have enough for every one, while we were looking at the Presidents carved in stone we came back to stripped T's, keys gone too, even in the camp ground under tarps and open trailers they caught thoser fellows again
Here is the link to Jay’s 2010 AOTD post for another of his Boyco sets,
with some ads and the links to the Boyco patents for them . . .

That looks like a great set! Thank you, Jay, for the visual.
Drive carefully, and do enjoy the holidays! W2
Jay,
I had the small can a few years ago. It had a knurled brass cap with no markings on it. I always wandered what brand that can was.
I need one of the brackets that mount to the running board that hold the cans on. Does anyone have one of these they would sell?
Thanks
Robbie the bracket looks like the ones on most common running board expansions to hold your luggage etc on with
John,
I have several of the luggage racks but I think they are different. I will check to make sure. Maybe if I can't find one I can make something.
