I believe it is a 1909ish Brush automobile. Note the hood handle up high (the entire hood come off.). Chain drive, runabout, left hand steering (while RHD was more common back then) etc.

definetly brush, look at the running boards and the swing ar suspension with coil springs.
I am (almost) more struck by the look on the driver than I am the car.
This is a man who is in complete control of his environment at the time this pic was taken.
Steely-eyed and confidant. This is the guy who always got the girl. A Douglas Fairbanks kind of guy.
Whatever he's in involved in, he will do it to the best of his abilities.
I've seen a few of his type at car shows. That look says: don't touch the car!
