Now that I have found a treasures chest I'll share some of the gems with you guys.
Here we have the lineup of the Gentofte Fire brigade:
First we have the Fire Inspectors car, a 1913 Ford Model T, then a Dennis Fire fighter vehicle (is Dennis from the US?) and finally an Angle-Dane car - from one of the few danish car manufacturer that actually was in business for quite some time.
Here is a closeup of the Ford:
At that time Gentofte area was just the countryside and Gentofte was just a small village with a church and a railway station on the line towards Hillerød and Elsinore.
Now I have not been able to find the exact location, but according to the captions on http://www.danskebilleder.dk it is taken on Ellebjergvej.
Today Gentofte is part of Greater Copenhagen and a suburb north of Copenhagen and Ellebjergvej looks like this:
I love seeing these "then & now" type photos; especially from somewhere I do not normally see like Denmark. Thanks Michael

The Dennis fire engines were made in the UK.
