To all of my fellow model T friends both down here and up there, may we wish all a very merry christmas, a Happy New Year ( now that it seems we've all survived December 21 ) and a safe and happy Holiday.

David,

Since your Christmas will arrive before ours, it's good you get an early start.

Merry Christmas,

Rob

Looks like it is the "night shift" and the insomniacs.
Drive carefully, and Merry Christmas! W2

Politics don't seem to be helping these days....

Nice of you to say it your way David.

Same "Merry Christmas" to you and yours.

Think about it- the politicians have been trying to destroy Christ since he was born, just use different tactics now. Merry Christmas to all! KB

It has been the best Christmas in my adult life thus far. Family coming, I am not working, and the thing that tickles me most, the cashiers in stores have all been wishing me a Merry Christmas!!! not Happy Holidays, but a cheery Merry Christmas!!!! Maybe there is some hope for us after all!!!

This was in our Church bulletin today. Thought it was appropriate:

Mary was excited about her first pregnancy
and rushed to tell her cousin.
Sadly children are often seen as a liability,
“another mouth to feed”
or an “obstacle to my career.”
It is said "Christmas is for children.”
It is more accurate to say
“Christmas is for adults to appreciate the gift of children!”

David. It is OK to say Merry Christmas on the T site because Christmas contains a T.
If you had said Happy Holidays someone would have told you that you should mark the thread the with OT

Merry Christmas to all! :-)

As far as a politically correct greeting is concerned, I previously received this message from other sources. Enjoy.

"To All My Democrat Friends (both of them):

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an
environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive,
gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the
most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular
practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion
and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or
secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally
fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally
accepted calendar year 2013, but not without due respect for the calendars of
choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America
great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country
nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without
regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or
sexual preference of the wishee.

To All My Republican Friends:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good year.

May your coils spark true;
May your brakes hold too,
May your lights shine bright;
May your travels abstain plight.

Right!
Merry Christmas. To all who are offended by that, why don't you invent your own holiday?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Max L. Christenson on Sunday, December 23, 2012 - 04:03 pm:

Actually, under current circumstances, those who are offended by the "Merry Christmas" greeting need do nothing, as they simply blood-suck off of those who genuinely enjoy this blessed holiday. In other words, those who are offended continue to receive their pay for Christmas Day, regardless of whether they are offended by the Christian Christmas Day.

If those who are offended by the Christmas Day holiday genuinely hold to their non-beliefs and cannot wait to get to Hell, then they should refuse to receive their pay that they would otherwise receive if they worked on Christmas Day. Are there any non-believers out there who are willing to do so? It's kind of like falling on your own sword, so to speak. Any takers?

Quick, someone add "OT" to the title of this thread, else we're going to catch it again.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Max L. Christenson on Sunday, December 23, 2012 - 04:10 pm:

It is already clear it is "OT" by its title.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
