Genuinely curious to what other parts of the world are experiencing.
Perth in Western Australia is expecting 40c. (That's about 104f)
We are a couple of hundred miles south so hopefully a little cooler.
Guessing Santa will need his swimming togs and a fridge full of cold beer for this part of his run.
A high of 5 and a low of -6 in Minnesota with enough snow to land a sleigh!
Possible snow, high of 22 degree.
60% rain....high of 68...
Lincoln, NE is forecast a low of 3 and a high of 16 F.
It’s –9 F. (-23 C.) here in Calgary at the moment, and the forecast is

Light snow overnight giving us about 4 inches total accumulation of
the easy shovelling ‘fluffy’ kind. Main roadways are salted and sanded,
but the side streets can be interesting to slide’ err drive on.
All in all not to bad, but would have no complaints if a 'Chinook' were blow in.
80F and showers
Rain.....hi 30s, low 40s (f) here in Oregon in the foothills of the coast range. Higher elevations have and are getting all kinds of snow.
I will be on the road traveling thru Ohio,

Merry Christmas !

It was 15 F about an hour ago while I was out changing a flat tire on the front of my pickup on the side of highway 10. That seem like an exercise in futility. First I couldn't get the spare out from under the truck because the thing the crank is supposed to fit into in order to let the cable down was packed full of mud. Then the wheel with the flat is aluminum and it was stuck so tight to the hub I had to hit it with a wood block until it broke loose. It's not often it takes me over an hour to change a flat but it did this time. I knew I should have stayed home tonight. That's what I get for doing a favor for a friend. Haha.
And merry Christmas to you to Richard.
Sunny, pleasant and about 75 here in west central Florida. With chill factor it might feel like 74. Wait. Don't get all jealous cause we have about 300 days a year that are barely worth living through.
Here's wishing all you folks a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Bob
Partly cloudy with a high of 5 F, typical South Dakota weather.
In the foothills of SW Washington State:
Sorry MIKE
Ahhhh Richard :-).
We had a quick blizzard yesterday (23rd) that gave 10 cm snow and drifts due to the wind. Today (24th) it will all rain away, so close and yet no white Christmas.
Partly cloudy, high of 54 in the Sierra foothills of Califunny
One thing I don't miss about Germany is the winters....Brrrrrr.....made abundantly worse by the fact that I had to go outside for long stretches of time and play army in it...brrr....
No snow yet in our part of the Califunny foothills either. It is a bit North and about five miles East of us. Forecast for Christmas day is clear. I keep hoping.
Drive carefully, and Merry Christmas! W2
Danial, I always thought it's ironic that the VW beetle, from such a cold country as Germany, has such a miserable excuse for a heater.
Looks like I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. The Tuesday forecast is for a low of 12ºF, a high of 25ºF, and 100% chance of snow. I hope it's enough to do the wheat some good. This far south, that kind of chill doesn't last long. In a few days we'll be back to our normal highs in the forties and lows in the twenties.
High of 12 F. At least we beat South Dakota
Right now it's up to 14 F here. I think I might turn the A.C. off tonight.
70 degrees and comfy--I'm not going outside 'til spring. OH, you mean OUTSIDE?? Never Mind. :-) Probably 30 degrees and little white cotton balls all over the yard and street.
Southwest Florida. 70's during the day, 50's at night.
102F here in Perth Western Australia rising to 104F 40c for the week end. No snow. Merry Christmas.
It's raining like pee pouring out of a boot right now. Supposed to be clear tomorrow, then more rains.
NOAA is saying chance of rain for the HME.
Snow showers and a high of 35°F. Perfect Christmas morning weather.

Hmmm... I wouldn't call the San Joaquin Valley desert, though it does get mighty toasty in the summer.
Forecast update: Looks like the main body of the storm will be in Oklahoma. Being just five miles from the state line, we may be lucky enough to get up to six inches of snow.
Tuesday Christmas day, Highs minus 1 Celsius, 31-32 Fahrenheit. No snow on the ground, A green, but wish we could have, a white Christmas.
Bud,
If you are in Golden you are about 12 miles from me and I have T's to drive! How long are you here? Christmas day is not good but..... If you have some time call me. 303-902-2900 or paulmikeska@yahoo.com

Here in Bakersfield we get about 5 inches of rain a year. Many 100 plus days from June to late September.
Lots of great Touring weather. just bring along extra water for Lizzi.
And Bakersfield got all five inches of rain during the swapmeet this year... Hope to meet you there next year, Mark.
Well here it is 1:45 AM, I just got home from the family Christmas Eve party. It's -3 degrees Fahrenheit. It's finally starting to get decent outside.
Xmas day reached 39.6c or 103f here in Perth Western Australia. Forecast for the weekend now 41c. Still no snow.
The high for the day is right now, about 40 degrees. Supposed to be mid 20's tonight with continuing precipitation.
Here in Dallas snow paralyzes the city. Kids and teachers like it, electric company employees and city workers not so much.......
We just had another gorgeous sunrise, due to the high clouds. It looked just like this, only different:
We had a tease of snow last night...all gone about an hour after it passed thru...
It's 9:30 AM Christmas Morning. -8 degrees and sunny.
Robert;
I dropped you a line. It's not too far over here from Dunellon. Give me a call. 352-212-8979.
Here in Victoria, B.C., Christmas Day is turning out as usual; rain, rain and more rain.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
Regards,
Steve
I'm at Buffalo Lake for Christmas,I waved when we flew over Calgary Art, and it's Minus 20 Celsius or so.
Ran the snowblower yesterday, and visited the ice fishing shacks.
Hey Chris.
Hope you're having fun shovelling that white stuff at Buffalo Lake!
A Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Let me know when your back in town and we'll catch up over coffee.

Here in Williamsburg, VA,... not a cloud in the sky and it's 55 degrees.
Couldn't ask for a nicer day.
Hey Steve from BC...it is wet, cold and dreary down here too. A basically "blah" day as far as weather goes. Staying indoors by the heat and coffee....
Here in Dunsmuir, Calif. 55 miles north of Redding (Bill Dugger's home) and it is currently snowing, heavily, has since before we woke up, and I'd say has easily dropped 5" on what is already out there (looks like about 3 feet on my sister's deck).
SO NO MORE "I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS" please!! We have to go home in a day or so (back to Oroville, where it's probably raining--again).
Thank you!
T'
David D.
PS Where's a good enclosed Snow Bird when you need one??
39.6 degrees in Wellington, NZ - a glorious day - the hottest Christmas Day here since 1934.
The day started for us taking Meggie (our Bearded Collie) for a walk along the waterfront. Here are some photos, including our native natural Christmas tree in bloom - the pohutukawa (pronounced po - hoot - ooo - car - wa). The day ended with a swim at 7.30pm and still around 26 degrees!
Merry Christmas to all.
John Stokes

It's warmed up a bit, current temp is 0 F. There's a light breeze. It's a good night to put a little extra straw out for the animals. Make sure they've got a lot of fresh water and a good place to stay out of the wind. And here's wishing you a merry Christmas for the few hours that are left and here's wishes for a happy model t new year to everyone.
So far, 5 feet of powder and pack powder snow (with more on the way), highs about 31, lows in the 20's, light winds. Winter storm warning #3 of the week in effect, tho we are sure it won't be a repeat of 12-21-12 (or so we hope!!!).
If there was ever a day when I wish I had a snowbird, tho it would be tough once we got onto the paved roads... at least then we could GET to paved roads!
Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us up here at the Forge!!! ;)
Low 40's and rain! Portland OR
