My wife bought me two "T" things for Christmas.
A Sparton Chime Bugle and a Crystal Timer.
I'm fairly sure the Sparton bugle is post T but that doesn't matter because I've wanted one since I first heard one over forty years ago.
The Crystal timer will just be displayed. I don't trust the pot metal ring.
well 48 spokes from Mr. Stutzman should arrive at somepoint in the future. that is my christmas from the parents. and the only present I know im getting!
A a family we each buy one gift for when we get together on Christmas Day. Then we play a dice game to see who get which gift. The gift can't cost over $25.00 (although none of us follow those guidelines). Tomorrow I have to go shopping for the gift I'm going to throw in the pot. We might also hand off gifts to each other but not always. We have the best times attending midnight mass together and just hanging out with each other. So I guess I'll have to buy myself something for my T and when I know what it is I'll let you guys know. I'd like to have those Spokes Matthew got.
A new inlet pipe for my new muffler.
Michael Mullis, the Crystal timers are great. You can order a new ring to replace the potmetal one.

Who sells the new rings?
I spent last night and this morning in bed reading my new copy of "Me and my Model T". It was a great read and I couldn't put it down until it was finished. Also got a copy of 'The English Model T Ford' for my T library.
Merry Christmas to all from Christmas Summer in Australia!
My daughter and son in law made me a piece to hang my keys on that's in the shape of a model t. They were very proud and I was very impressed. And I also got a flannel shirt from my son. I guess we're not going to mid-night Mass tonight. Everyone's had a really big day today and my daughter is going to stay overnight so they left to go back to the Minneapolis area and I came home to Rice. My son stayed to spend some time with his mother watching a movie
Re-spoke 4 wheels by Stutzmans!!!!
The same gift I received for years and years; my wonderful lady spent the entire day with me. Over the decades she supported and helped me with my T addiction (sanded wheels until her fingers bled, helped install top, haul parts etc.). The same went for my other interests. She would come home with an antique radio (I found this at a sale-can you use it?). Who is this Santa guy? Sure can't hold a candle to the woman in my life. Christmas 365 times a year.
Dennis Henrichs, Sounds like you know you got a good thing there. You better treat her right.
Wayne,
Don't I know it. I try to do my best. With no other family left and a couple health issues she's the more precious thing in my life. (except for T's :-) Just kidding. Best of the New Year to you and your family.
My sweet gal got me an antique picnic basket for my running board rack.
I didn't get any T stuff but my mission was to go out in the garage and get ol Lizzie running (f*^$#g 10% ethanol gas) but I stuffed my face and ended up playing with my 5 year old Grandson's new toys instead. I don't drink so I won't be hung-over, we'll give it another try on Jan. 1st.
Dennis - We had a nice day here last Thursday as it didn't rain for a change and it was fairly warm. So, been meaning to do this for a month or more,....I took the car cover off of the depot hack and fired her up. No problem,....popped right off like it was anxious to go for a ride too!
"Sticked" the tank and found I had only about 2 gallons in it, so drove to local filling station and filled her up with "FRESH" gasoline. Hopefully, that will not spoil, or go sour, or go stale, or whatever the heck goes wrong with modern gasoline in about 3 months. I also ran all of the fuel out of the carburetor too! Had a heck of a time getting it started in the Spring year before last and I sure don't want THAT trouble again! That's the reason the depot hack got new points, new condenser, new coil and a few other things that it probably didn't need! At that time, I thought all of the talk about the new, modern gasoline going bad in a short time was just a bunch of "hype", however, as a last resort, I drained all the fuel and replaced with a couple gallons of "fresh" gasoline and as it then started right up, I am now a "believer" in the fact that this new gasoline DOES go bad much more quickly than gasoline did so in years past. And by the way, I also changed my mind about all of the more popular "fuel preservatives" as I had put a couple of them in the fuel tank that previous Fall and it obviously did NO GOOD! Anyway, we'll see what happens THIS Spring!.....harold
I went out to the shop and opened the door,
then realized that I had been dreaming that I cleaned it and now I'll need to do it. Well maybe later. That's my story and I'm sticking to it maybe tomorrow?

Slightly off topic but my present from Heather will make finding the correct wrench (spanner to my UK friends) much easier.
Happy New Year

Harold, "Lizzie" usually starts right up. Of course, usually I start her up and go for a ride, every 2 weeks or so. This time she's been sitting for 6 months. She tried to start but just gets spinning fast enough to kick the bendix out. This happens over and over again until I flood her or the battery goes dead.
I'm going to get out of the habit of leaving her parked in the garage with a full tank of gas too. I'll drain the tank and pull the float bowl, put her back together, put some fresh gas in her and I'm sure she'll start right up. Then, it's time to go for a good, long ride. I was planning on putting the Rambler in the garage and using Lizzie to go to and from work in for a week or so anyway.
Thanks Ron for the info on the timer rings.
Some T books, a Langs gift certificate, and some new hand tools to work on the T.
A clock mounted in a KW Coil Box (5007KW IF AD Clock) Ex Fun Projects. Love it!

Hi guys, well I have ordered another car for Christmas to add to the fine stable of Ford that I have and have the lady of the house's blessing "BUT" I have to sell two others so I am selling my 1965 Rambler American Convertible and my 1965 Falcon Sedan, I should be getting a restored 1959 Galaxy... Ray
My wife and her folks gave to me gift certificates for Chaffin's Garage. So I got to order a bunch of parts I had been putting off for awhile. I also got a gift certificate for eBay (I'll be nice and spell it correctly this time). So it will also be used for model T parts.
Now if I can just beat this cold I can get back to work on the T.
Do drive carefully, and have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! W2
I got a nice warm "hoodie" from the grandkids.
