I've been researching Model K Fords and have happened across quite a few interesting tidbits, both about Ks,, other Fords and early "automobiling" in general. Tonight I happened upon the news account of another Model K accident.
The other accidents involving a Model K, or Ford Six (more searches turned up under Ford Six) involved a roadster with four persons killed in Colorado Springs CO. Two other accidents involving Ford Sixes occurred in Oakland and Fresno CA. The thread link about those accidents:

Tonight's accident takes place near the Long Island Ferry in New York. The photo shows the K was destroyed, and the story says the Ford Six was going too fast when it struck a trolley. The passengers were seriously injured.
From the looks of that picture it is hard to believe they are recovering as well as could be expected.
It's time for you to put those girls to bed and finish wrapping presents. Santa comes tomorrow night. You can do more research wed nite.
Merry Christmas.
Dave,
Your right, good night....
Rob
(Same goes for you)
I thought I posted a short reply to this hours ago? Oh well. It was just some silly comment about how I could restore that car if I could get it.
I just finished wrapping a couple gifts. Sometimes there is an advantage to having insomnia.
Do drive carefully, and enjoy a Merry Christmas! W2
