I can't find much information on what was supplied with Model T's to repair tires. The Encyclopedia mentions the 1914 tool roll had a pocket in the flap to store T-4729 repair patches and four T-4726 tire patches. The following year the pocket was discontinued. What was used before and after 1914?
Out of curiosity I looked in the Model A Judging Standards to see what came with the Model A. I could find no mention at all about any tire repair materials.
Just a bit more is all I can find,
the Dec 1 1926 Parts Price list
lists tire repair kits
April 1924
2 sizes of repair kits
Ford tire repair kit, with part # T-4070, but can't find that # in any parts lists.
Hi Randy: Take a look at the Vol. 47 No. 4 Jul/Aug 2012 issue of the Vintage Ford, page 27.

The tire kit can changed several times during Model T production in size, and color configuration. I have a few original patches here that have the Ford script on them.
Gary, That is a very good article you wrote with all the pictures. I don't know how I missed it, I read most of the rest of the issue.
