Derek,
Did Santa bring the Touring to the boys this Christmas?
If he did please post pictures of the boys when they saw it.
At about 7:00, Cale came to our bedroom giggling and said "there's a Model T outside". The blinds were closed, and there was a note from Santa in a stocking saying to look outside, but he was looking for reindeer tracks, so he found it before we read the note.
We're going to go for a short ride in it before we head to Grandma's house... hope it starts! Santa put some fresh Antifreeze, 5W-30, and a new battery in it, then left it outside all night in 0deg weather.
Love it!
I love little kids.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Derek
I wish I lived out in the country like that and you have two kids that will enjoy That T country with you. I still tinker on my 70 x 100 lot in town, and everything is out of sight.
Marry Xmas to you and yours.
Bob
PS when are you getting your snow unit??????
Very cool Christmas.
Good job. Very quiet here. Hoping my son will stop over for coffee.
How many hours did they stand there and stare out the window, or did they run to put their coats on? What a cool way to celebrate xmas. Wish I could have done something like that for my kids.
Enjoy.
Derek - You have to tell us....Did the car start and did you drive it to Greadma's house?
Inquiring minds need to know.
Keith
We just got back from grandma's house... in a warm modern car. It was only about 5 degrees out today.
It took a little while, but I did get the T started. I had to jack up one wheel and choke it a lot, but it did eventually start. Unfortunately, by the time I got it started, we didn't have time to go for rides so the boys just watched me drive around the yard a bit from the window.
The kids talked about it a lot today.
Bob, my Dad has a Snow Bird kit. About 12 years ago we had it on my roadster which I just sold. Dad has it on a chassis now that's pieced together with a rough looking pickup body, but here's a picture of it on my old car.
