I'm putting together the hubs, spindles, etc. on my front axle. This has Simplex wheels and hubs, with Timken bearings. When I disassembled them, there were no seals! I've posted a few pics of these, exactly how they looked when disassembled (except cleaner).

Any suggestions?

Thanks.Front Bearing 1Front Bearing 2

David, the inner seal next to the spindle is there, albeit a bit deformed. I am not familiar with Simplex wheels, but usually the hub cap is the seal. The cap is filled with grease and when installed act as a lubricant reservoir and dust seal.

Hope this helps.

It appears the shoulder for the grease seal is there on the bearing. You probably just need a new seal.

So I'm in need of the inner seal, either neoprene or the old styles felt? I think I've seen these on the websites for T parts...

Thanks again.
