No questions today, just having a great time!- started installing a ruckstell in my 22. Got it apart - ring and pinion gears look great. axles and bearings look good also.

For those of you that recommend checking the thrust washers - great advice. The passenger side washer must have dissolved over the years - no sign of one what-so-ever. The drivers side is babbitt, in one piece and hardly worn at all. seems odd to me. The drivers side leaked like a sieve.

Got new plates and washers ready to install. Neoprene seals also.

I have no interruptions this weekend, so if i am lucky i will have it complete soon - then on to the rocky mountains.

I had plenty of time while waiting for parts to read threads on this forum, and publications about this process. What an unbelievable help it has been. I am doing this for the first time but it seems very familiar.

I hope it continues to go as smoothly. Thanks everyone for your knowledge on this forum.
