I'm in the process of buying my first T, a 1926 Touring car. Fortunately, the car is restored, so I don't need to take any big projects on immediately.

Can anyone suggest some good basic tools that a T owner should have? I plan to get a wheel puller and will look for a good jack. My plan is to do the basic repairs on my own, but will probably pay someone to do the big jobs. What tools should I have? Thanks.

Larry, send me you e-mail address and I'll send you a story I wrote for our club newsletter to answer just that question. The picture page is too big to post here.

If you want to see most of the correct tools for your car, simply look in a '26 parts book. Most of those late tools are relatively inexpensive.
