San Antonio's Battle of Flowers Parade was held today and covered by local television. In about the first 15 minutes (all I got to see) of the parade were at least six Model Ts ferrying officials.
Anyone here participate or know what group was involved?
Jeff, Luke and Michael from Space City T's in Houston said they were going. I am new to the club but I think Jeff said they have been going for several years. When I was in college we would go to the parade and it was quite an event 30-40 years ago. Pretty weather today here in Houston. Bet it was neat. Ken
Ken, Any luck finding that dream brass era T you are searching for???? (Hint, hint, hint to the other members of the forum!)....Michael
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade is tonight. (Closes out Fiesta week.) It's the largest illuminated night parade in the US. I wonder if they'll be back? Some sharp looking cars were in Friday's parade. I saw one green truck too.
The Battle of Flowers Parade has been held since 1891. The first Flambeau Parade was 1948. They'll probably have A and B cars in that one. I was hoping someone that attended from the board would post pics,
Grady Puryear is from Fredericksburg. I wonder if he attended.
