The factory upholstery (vinyl) on my 1919 is dried out and cracking. I want to keep it in use as is. Is there anything I can apply to soften it up and keep it usable?

Thank you, Gordon.

I use STP Son of a Gun. Paint it on with a piece of sponge and keep moving it around until it is greasy. Leave it overnight this way. The next day, buff the excess off with a terrycloth towel.

You'll be amazed at how it cleans, softens, and restores the color. Way better than Armor All on plastics (of any kind).
