Our club was asked to supply 7 cars and a truck for the Geo. Clooney movie "Leatherheads" being shot throughout North & South Carolina. It is a story of early professional football set in 1926. We delivered the cars today, only to see that the movie company had 25 cars and trucks already there which they had leased or rented for use on their other locations. We are shooting tomorrow morning at the old War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro which will serve as a "'20s" backdrop. Some of the movie company cars are clearly for prop use only, but about 8 of them looked pretty nice and ready to roll. We will be provided period costumes by the production company and spend the day driving ours (and their) Ts around the place.
I'll post a few pictures after we "wrap" (movie talk) which might include a shot of a real Model T traffic jam !

Bill, Channel 2 just showed thier quick movie of you and your car on tv.Channel 8 showed a quick shot of all the cars in the lot. Should be good exsposure for the club.

well here I am in the coat and hat provided standing beside the nice 27 touring I had the privledge of hauling and operateing.I must admit something.It was very tempting to take a "wrong turn" and head on home with it!
Had alot of fun yesterday and I think everyone else involved did to.
