Thanks to all for the ideas on pulling the transmission disk drum. They worked great.

Now, it's time to remove the driven gear. Any "shade-tree" suggestions?

I just used a regular 3 jawed gear puller, after dousing liberally with ATF and letting it set overnight. I should add that this transmission had been half burried in dirt for countless years with thick greasy mud packed,caked and hardened around the tripple gears and driven gear.
