Red is for Bravery;
blood shed in sacrifice.
Freedom came with lives the price.

White is for Liberty;
freedom's purity.
Life be free from God's decree.

Blue is for Justice;
as vast as the sky.
Over freedom's land to occupy

John,
Thanks for the timely reminder and recognition of the cream of America that never made it back home. The freedoms and liberty we all enjoy today are certainly owed to them . . george

Being a Canadian,I respect dearly what all troops are doing over in the Middle East,and anywhere else for that matter.We just heard today of more deaths with our Canadian troops,and frequently watch the fallen being sent home on the TV news.Unfortunately,we do not observe Memorial Day today as our American friends do,our hearts and prayers go out to ALL troops who fight in the name of the precious peace we sometimes take for granted in this day and age.May our prayers reach all families who have lost loved ones helping to build a better world for all.
God Bless!!!
