I need the post rubber for a 24 Fordor,,Langs shows the what looks right as part 7840 P but when i ordered it ,it is the same as part T7837 from Snyders,i need a piece that is 1/4" wide at the bottom to fit in the groove in the post, these are only 1/8",Jack Daron suggested windshield wiper blades but so far no luck as the newer ones are narrow and have a metal plate attached is a picture of the post showing the groove ,Thanks for any and all solutions.Rick,
Nobody makes the correct piece for that. You either have to modify the piece you got, or like Jack said - look for a windshield wiper blade that will fit.

Would this work? I saw this website after John Regan posted a comment about early windshields. _1926-27-T-Style-Windshield-Rubber.html?itemNo=windshield,http://www.speedwaymot ors.com/p/780,,_1926-27-T-Style-Windshield-Rubber.html?itemNo=windshield Also there is a rubber company that advertises parts for other cars, not Ford, that has many rubber parts.
