I know this is basic info but I am at work without my Model T books so I would appreciate answers to the following questions:
1. What is the wheel base of a
Model T(distance between center of front wheel to center of rear wheel)
2. Width of car(side to side of front axle )
3. Length of Touring car(front to back)
4. Approximate weight of 1916 Touring car
Thanks for the info

Ed -- The wheelbase of all Model T's (except trucks and limousines) is 100 inches. The widest point on the car is the front hubcaps, and their spread is about 5'-8". The length of your '16 Touring is 11-1/2' with the top up, and about another foot with the top down. You didn't ask about the height, but it's just under 7'. (The car pictured in the post above is a '26-7, which are not as tall.) Your car weighs about 1500 lbs.
Thanks for the info. The reason I asked is I need to let the people who are building my trailer where to space the front & rear D-Rings. I was thinking the best choice woule be the recessed swivel ring style two front & two back about two feet back from the front of the trailer & a foot in from the left & right ends of the axles. Ant thoughts on this ?
