I aint bid on this yet and havent done any research as to what it is worth.But how would you know how the glass was shaped as i am sure a glass cutter would want a pattern?

Lang's and Snyder's has them, very similar anyway. They're about $110 in brass, complete. The ebay one is missing the mount also. The glass would most likely be round.

I have one on my speedster & the glass shop just cut the glass round & used the urethane sealer to put it in ... no pattern needed & it cost about 30 - 35 bucks
