Forgot to mention that I'm considering one for an under the seat tank.

I bought one about a year ago for my 26 and it has worked really well. I might mention that I bought the soft metal lapping compound and made sure the valve was properly seated and lubricated before installing. It has worked great.

I bought one two years ago for our 26. No problems.

What about the earlier ones. My car is a '21.

They are a very nice reproduction piece. I've used them and carry them in my stock. They are made of brass so if you want to be correct for your year, color it black.

If you don't need an exact replica, the John Deere AM3100T is an excellent modern replacement.
