This isn't actually really T related other than Vic Zannis is involved, some are familiar with the Zannis name as Vic as well as his late father Jim have been involved in T's for years. He sent me the following Web site for the Great Race commencing this coming May.
The following is a comment he made when forwarding the site, with the exception of the statement he made saying he used a six foot boring bar on the mains and had nothing left over. Thought this might be interesting to the guys pouring there own engines. Plus 22000 mile is a LOT OF MILES
The body is off a 1920 Reo touring I found in Kansas at Model T Haven of all places. The chassis is for sale and would make a heck of a huckster! The rods and mains are 2.625" in diameter and at the center two are three inches long, the front and rear over 4 inches! The rods are 14" center to center! Big old thing.
