One of our members without internet access is looking for any and all information about a Model T Depot Hack that was used by the “General Wolfe Inn” in Wolfeboro NH.

The hack was used for a long time after it’s duties to and from the train station ended, later used to take guests “into town” and was frequently seen around the Lake Winnipesaukee region of New Hampshire, well into the 1960s.

The lettering “General Wolfe Inn” was clearly visible the last time he can remember seeing it.

It may have been sold to collector that had it in a barn in the Lowell / Chelmsford / Dunstable area of Massachusetts after it stopped being used by the Inn, but that was last heard of it.

In response to an article in our local Club newsletter, this past month he has received some information that it was later seen somewhere in Massachusetts possibly on the “South Shore” and is exploring that possibility with the Clubs in Massachusetts.

If you know anything about this Hack or it’s whereabouts, please post here.

Thanks in advance,
Bob Bowes
