I know all but #1. Perhaps it's part of a gas lamp?

#1 is the spark/gas rod guide on the earlier brass era steering column. I'm not telling on the rest (yet). :-)

#1 goes on the spark or throttle rod and the steering column to keep the small rods from rattling.
#2. Body panel bolt?
#3. I don't know
#4. Interior trim screw
#5. Hood clip spring
#6. Magneto shim
#7. Generator terminal insulator
#8. Hood shelf bolt
#9. Hood shelf bushing for head lamp wires
#10. Interior door knob

Number 1 will definitely get the shaft....

Hint - #3 is made of pure zinc.

#8 is the column mounted horn button clamping screw. troop

4. p/n6645X Brass nickel plated Bolt for windshield bracket (stanchion) to Instrument panel.

#3 is the side curtain socket for the top of the doors on a '26 - '27 Roadster or Touring.

Not all of these cars had this piece. Some had the stamped surface made to like somewhat like this piece, and later there was just a plain hole on top of the doors for the side curtain rod.

Next time I have a bunch of parts that I don't know where they go, I'm going to start one of these threads too.

I love this stuff! However, photos can be misleading! # 8 does kinda look like an early hood shelf bolt, except they used a square nut! Also, #6 is usually straight, not bent. Keep it up Dan. Keep us on our toes!!!

So anybody interested in attempting to prove me wrong. That wasn't much of a test.

#2 and #4 were also used on Model As so the test is a little loose. With the curve, I think everyone passed.

#2 is also used extensively in '24 & 5 to hold the two side panels on the rear of the body, and also for the front body sill to firewall bracket.
The nut is 1/2" across the flats, NOT 7/16".

#6 appears to be steel, not brass, clip to hold side curtains on roadster, touring.
