One of these day's I'll take this neat old whimsy accessory off the display shelf and install it on one of our T's.
This unit clamps over a standard Model T tail light fixture. When you pull the cable the STOP stencil comes down over the tail light lens.
What a neat stoplight! Is it made by the same folks that made the Pocket Fisherman and other items sold on late night TV?
Vintage Paul
It was on late-night radio!
Thank you Jay!
Wow, what a nice find! Although I guess the bulb is died a long time ago? What will you use to replace it? I would advise some kind of LEDs with a bit of coloring to them from https://www.expresslightbulbs.com/
Jay, in this time and day of crazy drivers, that type of stop light that blocks the only red light to the rear would not be what I want.
It is an a need accessory, but probably best left on the display shelf. Maybe used for day driving only??????
I was trying to say "a neat accessory"
Is it called a "semaphore" signal, whenever a flag like device comes out to signal one's intentions? Jim Patrick
That is a very cool accessory, Jay. The lettering and script are so typical of the era. Another treat you have given us.

I agree with Willie. What you want for actual driving is more light when you stop, not less. It's still a way cool accessory, just not for driving in traffic these days.
Maybe you need your light to say stop as most drivers don't know what that bright red light means. It would not work here in Canada, it would have to be in french and english LOL
You better change the lettering to Espaņola now days.
