Nice overall. The back looks suspiciously vett-like. The nose makes it look like your dad's midlife crisis ride.

Speaking of 50's concept cars, N2A (No 2 Alike)Motors is planning on building 100 "789 Chevy"s;

Gary their out there. Saw it at Englishtown Raceway last year. There are a couple of mixed year kits available.

I attended the G.M. Motorama shows back in the early 50's while attending the Art Center School of Design on a FOMOCO Scholarship. The paint jobs on the cars were all perfect even the stock production model cars on display in the lobby. I asked one of the officials about the paint and he said they were special hand done paint jobs and were too expensive to put out on the street. The shows were held at the Los Angeles Armory right next to the U.S.C. campus. That Olds was there. They also had a four passenger corvette loooking sedan with front-hung doors in front and suicide doors in the rear. There was no centerpost and the doors clicked together much like the pickup trucks with the short door in back and a regular door hung in front. We got lots of ideas for our designs at those shows.

This was Chrysler's K310 concept car for 1951 based on the Imperial chassis with the first Chrysler hemi V8. I have the 51 Imperial with the hemi. One of these days I plan to make the K310 body.
